Art in the Burbs 2024

Art in the Burbs is another fun event, partly because it's in TIGARD! I went to middle school in Tigard, so it's fun seeing my old neighborhood. I did this event last year and had fun, so naturally I wanted to do it again. As soon as First Thursday's 2-day event finished, I packed up the truck, left it that way and headed out to Tigard bright and early the next morning (Saturday). This event was another 2-day event, so it went from Saturday to Sunday. 

Overall, this one was fairly slow. I'm a firm believer that my demographic is at every event I go to, but some events have a higher concentration of that demographic than others. This event must've had a pretty low concentration because it was very slow. I had too much extra time on my hands, so I used that time to get artwork created for my next sticker workshop.

The event itself was run well and I didn't have any issues, but the crowds were just really small and not too interested in my art. I did have a good time chatting with those who stopped by my booth and chatting with my other vendor friends.
