Weekly Ketchup: February 14th 2025

Weekly Ketchup: February 14th 2025

What’s this week’s ketchup all about? Well, there was snow, there was drawing, there was client work, event prep and some other stuffs!

Projects:
I was commissioned by a family member to illustrate an art print based on song lyrics by Simon and Garfunkel. This was a fun illustration that I agreed to based on me needing lots of time to fit this into my schedule. So that meant I didn’t need to crank it out or move too quickly. Once I got started, the process went quickly, but I allowed myself to really explore some ways to illustrate my idea. That means I got to try out a few different techniques until I found the right one. Most of my drawings are quick and simple because of lack of time. This one was different. Below is a snippet of what I was working on.

Upcoming:
I have a bunch of products that I’d like to make based on my art this year. I made a schedule for myself to stick to so that I can accomplish my goals. So this week I had to put in orders for a few goods that I’m low on and I took the opportunity to have a couple of new items made as well. I’ll be sharing those once they’re done.

Events:
This Sunday! I’ve been getting ready for this and I’m really excited to try this out. It’s a new type of event so we’ll see how the demographic responds to my art.

Snow!
There was snow on Thursday!

Now, back to work!
