Weekly Ketchup: March 14th, 2025

This week I visited Pop Local, worked on redoing sticker art, got a new stamp and got started on my next video.

Pop Local
Pop Local is a retail shop at the waterfront of Vancouver Washington. I’ve had my art there for couple of years now. I’ve been doing visits almost once a month to drop off inventory. This week I needed to pick up some Christmas inventory and grabbed the framed art that’s been on display since summer.

Sticker Doodles
I came out with these smaller sticker packs called Sticker Doodles a while back. Now, I’ve decided to refresh these sticker packs with updated and colored art. I’m also working on new packaging as well, but the first step is to get the stickers made.

Stamp
I’ve had this idea to get a self inking stamp specifically for the back of my stickers for a little while. I finally pulled the trigger and got the stamp made. Unfortunately the ink doesn’t dry on all of the sticker backs. It depends on the manufacturer but some of the backs of stickers have a slightly waxy texture. So, I need to look into a different type of ink.

Video Work
Work on my next video has started. Hooray. I recorded everything a week or two ago and now it’s time to put it all together. I’m hoping to have it ready next week.

Now it’s back to drawing and project work.
